I wrote about the little trip we went on about last week. On that day, we climbed Skytree, one of the sight seeing places in mother Tokyo areas. It is, borrowing WIkipeidia’s words, a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower. It is 634 meters (2080 feet) tall and when it was built (I don’t know about now), it was the tallest tower in the world. There are many visitors and we were lucky because we had reservations but usually you have to wait for three hours in line to climb there.
Well, what I want to talk about is not the tower but the weather. As you can see from the photo, it was pretty much cloudy on that day so we were able to see only white cloud outside. Well, in Japan, during winter we have very little amount of rain but in Spring and Fall, we have very unstable weather. So this weather is a quintessential weather of Japan in Spring. Hope we have some more beautiful days.
