Today it was a fine morning. Not too hot, not too cold. This weekend, I have to go to Tokyo (half fun, though) but on Sunday I will be free, so I might go for a little ride for fun, looking for some scenery and food!!
This morning, I can ride outside finally after two days of rainy weather. I woke up late (I am tired from work these days) so I went only for 11 miles (A “Gamin” file shows 13 km but I rode for cool down after I shut the device off).
Now I will go to work by bicycle today but one thing you have to be careful in Japan these days is “ゲリラ雷雨 (geri-la Ame” or ”Guerrilla thunderstorm.” When I looked up in one of those Web dictionaries, it says “this word is not officially used by the Meteorological Agency” but the Japanese media is using them. Sounds catchy, I guess. Anyway it refers to the sudden thunderstorm that is relatively stronger and unpredictable than usual one. Today is reportedly a day one of those ゲリラ雷雨 is likely.
