As I wrote in a post before, it is getting darker and a little bit chilly here in Japan. Last year, or the year before last, I rode more than 1600 kilometers or 1000 miles a month (this month I rode 1350 km but I did not ride at all for 8 days while I was visiting DC & New York so I think I rode at the same pace). On top of all that I have the busiest 4 months coming, so I decided to go into easier mode from this month.
This morning, accordingly, I rode about 12 miles. As for Garmin data, I kind of tried TT (Time Trial) so I switched on and off at the point I am kind of using for my start and goal so the total distance is about 12 km or 8 miles.
Then I gave my 90% and I achieved 18 mph and I am glad about that.
Anyway I usually use summer for basically training but autumn is one of the best season for traveling by bikes. So hope to go somewhere nice and hope to show you a beautiful scenery of Japanese autumn along with some nice food.In Japan, we say “天 or Ten(Heaven) 高くor Takaku(High) 馬 or Uma (and horses) 肥ゆる or Koyuru (grow stout) 秋 or Aki (Fall is the time for)” which literally means in fall, skies are high (clear and beautiful) and horses grow stout.” Hope I am not going to get much weight. 😀
